Dr. Obioma is a commercial law specialist whose practice and scholarship focus on Competition, Consumer Protection and related areas of business regulation. She combines a strong academic portfolio – Lecturer, Faculty of Law, University of Nsukka (Enugu Campus) – with hands – on legal practice as a Legal Counsel at PO Presh Legal, and prior services as Legal Officers at the University of Nigerian, Nsukka (2017 – 2021). Dr. Obioma holds a PhD in Competition ans Consumer Protection Law (2023) and LLM in Law of Business Organisation (2018), and recent certificates from WIPO Academy in Intellectual Property(2024 – 2025).
At Lex Economicus Advisory, Dr. Obioma leads research, consultancy and training initiatives in Competition and Consumer Protection Law. She delivers tailored capacity building programs for regulators and private sector teams; and produces policy – facing research that translates complex legal developments into practical, cost effective solutions for businesses operating in the African Markets. A prolific author and journal reviewer, her published work examines the architecture and implementation of competition regulation, consumer remedies, maritime and carbotage regulation, corporate governance and asset recovery mechanism. She is an experienced conference speaker and peer reviewer for outlets including the Commonwealth Law Bulletin, Global Journal of Comparative Law and the Nigerian Judicial Review.
Dr. Obioma is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association and the Nigerian Association of Law Teachers and brings to clients a rare blend of rigorous legal research, policy insight and transactional experience.
